About
BRITTNI A. KALYUZHNY, MSN, FNP-BC, FMACP
I am a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified with the ANCC. I have worked in a variety of medical settings including medical/surgical, urgent care and emergency medicine.
I settled as a nurse practitioner specializing in medical dermatology where I practiced for many years. It was in this setting, I witnessed the revolving door of our medical model in which we are only managing symptoms and patients are not actually getting better.
Having reversed my own chronic disease process (lupus) in 2021 using only diet and lifestyle, I knew there is a better way for my patients and became passionate about functional medicine. I went on to complete the AFMCP (Applying Functional Medicine to Clinical Practice) Certification with the Institute for Functional Medicine and became Functional Medicine certified with the Functional Medicine Academy.
